I couldn't agree more. Still working so need to plan time off to travel the 770 miles to KSP. Anyone know historically about when the schedule is issued?
Usually it is issued from mid to late September. I want to schedule a time for a FB game, VB match and a Fall Ball game. I may just take a chance.
To be fair, when I say non-existent, I meant her freshmen season. There was zero chance I thought she was going to take innings away from Gatorade Player of the Year Ava Brown. We had seen very little film nor the accolades from Oxley than we did with Rothrock and Brown. Now I wouldn’t be surprised if she threw 100 innings, versus the 25 I had penciled in for her.
If she's suddenly driving a flashy car and throwing money around, then we know where she's already committed.
With all due respect to our bullpen, I worry that pitching may be our Achillies heel this year. Perhaps CTW has some recruits he's watching in the pipeline or others from the portal.
bfall Johnny. Did you just write that? If you remember, we did not have a bullpen last year. Keagan gutted it out in one of the best pitching years we have ever had. That is not just looking at statistics, but the heart and toughness she showed. We could see improvements in all of our pitchers in Fall Ball. SVP has already made a difference and has two more months to coach them up. I'd like you to reflect on your clinging for dear life in a palm tree. Those were good days. Now relax and look forward to better days. Love you, Johnny.
Wrong term I guess -- what's the term for starting rotation of pitchers? Perhaps I'll get another "dislike," but I just don't think we currently have a "lights out" pitcher who can carry the team single handedly. But then again, I was raised in the Barnhill/Gourley days. That they were -- you have a good memory. That was my middle finger to Covid.
Johnny ..... did you write this post last December? Because this is the deepest, quality pitching staff we've had in the last 5 years, IMHO. They may have the potential to eventually rival the Barnhill, Gourley, Ocasio, Hagar years. I guess I don't understand where you are coming from.
We have had, at times, in our rotation the best pitcher in the nation. I agree that Keegan will likely not be that this year. Still, she absolutely is an elite pitcher. With Brown, Red, and Hammock, I am pretty confident we will have a second, if not a third, pitcher we can rely on in a big game as well. In today’s world, I think this is about as good as you can get. (Though admittedly we could be even better over the next two years.)
Canady is #1. Personally I don't think Pickens is any better than Keagen she's just had the luxury of the other proven arms.
