    Again, perspective.

162 Billion is peanuts compared to the 3.7 TRILLION that he geen lit for covid (and to be clear, I was and remain thoroughly disgusted with that @#$%&n spending orgy--but that foreign aid pails in comparison to the stupid money we pissed away domestically--and again, it was at least us first and way more, then others. Ie priorities).

Most of the people coming here or Europe, particularly illegally are fleeing chaos, political instability and economic pressure. I dont think people want to leave their country if they dont have to, but if you're being bombed, harassed by gangs formed in US prisons because of the drug war, under the boot of US/European sanctions or working for pennies because the developed nations are more interested in resource extraction than fair trade, you dont have much of a choice sometimes. If people have stable countries where they can be safe and prosperous they arent going to uproot themselves.

I donated multiple skids of water (40 cases of 40 bottles) from Sam's Club and personally delivered them to the HKY airport when Greg Biffle was flying aid to people in need.

Did you donate anything or did you ust sit down in CLT and click the keys on your keyboard.

And as to your comment on our LEO's, next time you're up in Hickory, I can organize a meeting with our LEO's and you can tell them that to their faces and I can show them this screenshot.

Better yet, just PM your NC tag number and I'll arrange an escort from our county line.:emoji_kissing_smiling_eyes:

In defense of @citygator, the upside down smiley face indicated his comment was sarcasm

Or maybe my point was it’s not one or the other. You can help the police and NC victims. Africa and NC. Red and blue state victims. This thread was started under a moronic post by a trolling mod.

We were in western NC as the eye went over Hendersonville. 13 days without power or water (well pump) . Saw the military aircraft for 4 days. FEMA nowhere in sight for weeks. ALL water and food distributions were locals, churches. FEMA trickled in later with stupid rules……no showers without flip flops so 18,000 flip flops were shipped in. Restaurants were told not to feed volunteers until they were vetted by the government. Restaurant owner told them to get lost. You decide.

Are you aware that FEMAs role is to train states on emergency procedures, coordinate multiple federal agencies responses, and fund recovery? None of their job is dispatching thousands of FEMA branded first responders.

I am guessing you have no idea. Hope enjoyed your visit to Henderson. Was there the day after on my way to my brothers house.

So if $162 Billion is peanuts, it stands to reason this $1BN is also “peanuts” (and really it is even in the context of what the U.S. does every damned year), so then what are we supposed to be upset about again!?

Sounds to me like Joe Biden really messed things up, but Donald Trump would have done an awesome job!!

Because he knows a whole lot of stuff from being on The Apprentice.

Enjoyed my visit? Sure. Bringing buckets of water from neighbors homes so we could flush toilets. Chimney rock destroyed…Asheville/area destroyed. They could have used some government help…..NOT THERE.

It sure seems like he can allocate money to foreign countries without Congress. But instead of allocating the money to other countries how about he keeps the cash in the US and asks Congress to allocate it to the Hurricane ravaged areas. And I do beieve he has a discretionary fund he could use.

And what leads you to believe that he’s those discretionary funds? You think that’s where the $1 billion came from?

I would love to know where the $1Billion came from. It may be out there but I wasn't unable to find where it came from. My point is that if we have the funds for him to allocate $1 billion+ to Africa, why not keep it in house and use it to help American Citizens.
