Seemed like BN played a lot of 2/3 stringers on Offense. Almost like he wanted the seniors to play knowing FSU was hapless. Now I’m sort of okay if that’s the case but would have much rather seen us up 35-0 at the half and then slide in the other guys.
I believe you are right. Florida State actually moved the ball fairly well, before they would screw up and turn it over or their cardboard cutouts of offensive linemen would get Kromenhoek sacked again. I thought Luke Kromenhoek looked pretty good for a freshman. Put him on a real team and he could go somewhere.
I recall them throwing 2 flags on them that we declined, still, that's only 2 penalties, called. f$u is not that disciplined! Poor officiating
We declined three by my count. There was one rescinded for unknown reasons and a few never thrown. The officials were not good, but that’s why they weren’t covering a bigger game. Fortunately the booth review crew appeared competent. We need to get rid of conference officials IMHO anyway.
I think the moving the ball pretty well was largely because Kromenhoek had a lot of ball busting scrambles. I know yards are yards and they all count but much like against LSU with their dump off passes, we were shutting down options 1-3 and then they were making it work with options 4 & 5 so the yards are there but don't quite reflect just how much we shut them down.
It was a LOT more than 15k UF fans, i think easily over 20. There was blue everywhere throughout the stadium
Good to know. Didn't look like there was even a dedicated visitor section on TV. Looked like all the Gators were spread out around the stadium.
I tend to agree. Walk off the field with zero celebration, like it was just another day at the office. Let them sit and think about how bad they are and how we beat them handily and barely showed emotion - because we expected to win, and did. That’s what better teams do.
We had our usual visitor seating location in the corner where the UF tunnel is located.....band is there too. That was all UF, and then plenty of fans everywhere else.
