Whatever happened to that 5 star DL recruit we got last year?

Tyreak Sapp is ripped at 275. He really started making plays beating his blockers allowing him or his fellow teammates to get the sack. Gumbs is ripped and fast about 245 or 250. He is like a wild colt, never know where he is going but it’s fast and brutal. Jack Pyburn started to get in the backfield and blowing up plays. He locked down his edge which Princely always over ran plays.

 

Did Pyburn make an announcement?

I wouldn't think so. Bullish' post implies he's leaving. He's a Jr, so can come back if he wants. He could enter the draft, but I think another year improving here could shoot him up the '26 draft. I hadn't heard he was leaving, that's why I was asking what that guy is talking about.

it was a BS move on his part! A forearm to the face mask and not bring a football move should draw a penalty every time. It was not an egregious hit ( ie love tap), but totally uncalled for

 

I think that’s who they’re talking about. We had later transfers come in, but he’s the late flip from Bama after Saban quit. He had already enrolled at Bama so had to transfer to move at that time.

We got another late signee around the same time, but that guy hadn’t enrolled and was able to be released from his LOI, so he came in like a regular hs recruit. I don’t remember who it was.

 

One and only true freshman that was a late transfer and only because of Saban leaving.
