This was always the game from the moment Joe Biden dropped out of the race and would reap no real political consequences after the election. The winner of the 2024 election had zero bearing on whether Joe Biden would pardon Hunter from the moment he dropped out.
I don’t have objections to Joe pardoning Hunter. I only have objections to him refusing to pardon Trump and waiting until after the election and until he became a lame duck to pardon Hunter. And he has a right to do the latter, it just reeks of political cowardice.
