I can see it both ways. I would honestly prefer that it didn't happen and of course I agree that Norvell is a colossal momo for the way he acted. TBH, if it weren't for the prospective joy of beating them like a rented mule, there would be no upside in being on the same planet with FSU. They handled this season's ignominious collapse with the same dignity they brought to the bowl game/PO fiasco last year. At least they're consistent.
Completely agree. They dug up turf (damaging our field), took the Albert and Alberta flags, waved a Gator Head and planting a flag for a few minutes is classless? This is the same school SS put together a video of all late hits (to the ECHO of the whistle) on Danny, who Emmitt said was twisting his ankles and poking his eyes under the pile. Billy needs to read up on the rivalry before throwing our kids under the bus.
I personally think Billy handled it honorably and appropriately. He seized control of a melee that could have gone south quickly, and he set the tone for the conduct and demeanor demanded by UF of everyone associated with the FB program - the direct opposite of what Mullen did in a similar incident. That was his first job in that moment, and he did it extremely well. Of course, the real problem is dealing with a chicken shit outfit like FSU in the first place. It is an asymmetric paradigm in that there are things we won't stoop to that amount to business as usual for the SOW. It may finally be time to scrape them off our shoes for good and all. Who needs FSU every year with a 9-game SEC schedule looming over the horizon? We certainly don't.

The FSU win was enjoyable in so many respects. UF did not play well on offense, especially throwing it, but UF didn't need to. Not the way the defense was working. 8 or 9 sacks, pressure all game long, 14 tackles for loss. The game was never in doubt. Throw in FSU's penchant for playing pickle ball, (thank you very much) and it was chaos all game long for FSU. Still 31 - 11 in Tally, covered the spread, and kept them from a meaningful score, until only aro 3 minutes left. Then topped it off with a late score to improve the beat down. I'll take a 20 point romp while we abuse their offensive line and QB, every day of the week, and for a month of Sundays. Met every criteria I was looking for. FSU's reality this year is shocking. From #10 before the start of the season to the absolute basement of power 4. Record setting offensive ineptitude. Do they have a "holding unto the ball drill"? Coaching 101. Saturday was epic. UF was stumbling around on offense and still beat them by 3 TD's. Will they even be able to sign 10 by ESD? LOL I think Norvell will BE gone next year. The future does not look bright for him. Gus? What was the timing of that hire about? Trying to save the offensive line recruits? ANOTHER One bailed already. 2 - 10. Epic collapse.
