Bowl projections?

I forgot that! But that probably is a win!
If it is a stink team, I want that win.

 

Sporting News has us playing TCU in the Liberty Bowl on 12/27.

 

Most non-playoff bowl games are mini vacations for the players with a lot of opt outs. Just hoping our players don’t party too hard before the game.

 

Usually these things are from fat fingers on cellphones. We only have a few posters that give drive-by ratings like that.

Still hearing and seeing Gator. Gasparilla very underwhelming for so many reasons.

 

We Want anything other than the Gasparilla bowl.

 

Both of these would be good for the program with the extra practices and exposure.

 

Interesting facts about these possible opponents.
We may be the only SEC team left who hasn't played TCU yet.
We're currently 2-2 against the 'Cuse.

 

Yeah, and we match up with both teams pretty well

 

TCU scares me a little, that QB can run and they score points. Their defense isn't stout but we've seen our offense can stall away from the swamp. That's the most interesting matchup to me.

Syracuse could test our secondary esp considering all of the injuries back there.

Florida bowls like to have the Gators … hoping that works out this year - I’ll go to it if in state for sure!

Yeah, but I would prefer both of those teams over Georgia Tech and their physicality.

Syracuse or TCU both sound good to me

 

I assume I am in the extreme minority --- both in terms of desire and degree of realism --- of wanting to bowl against Miami. It's impossible, of course, but I would love to see our defense against Cam Ward now.

 

I had this thought as well, but I doubt it happens. If it did, what's the odds ward plays? I'd say less than 50% if it's the gator bowl. I imagine they are in line to play a bigger bowl game though, unfortunately.
