If Napier pulled a Lane Kiffin and ran up the score, Gators fan would’ve thrown a New Year’s party celebration.

 

8 fumbles and 11 points is party worthy.

 

Not to be disagreeable but the play calling was solid. Player’s execution was sloppy including DJ, dropped balls, etc. we won but we lacked an edge. We are turning a corner. Good teams still find a way to win.

Remember what the HBC said- if they like you, you’re probably not beating them.

Our defensive line played like big boys tonight. Pass coming out of spin out of bear hug was a dime! Big 99 chased the qb from behind. A nice farewell run from Montrell. Minus the snow, Billy Ball felt like watching a Packers Giants game from 1965. Good win.

 

Solid win. Great to end regular season on 3 game winning streak instead of what had become an annual swoon. Why turn narrative into flag planting? That's for nolies and Gator haters to do.

FWIW - I like what Billy said about the flag planting. Compare it with Ryan Day's speech. Billy said we are above all that. Norvell and Day are weak and desperate. Im glad Billy said we are not going to do that again. Those saying Norvell looked good - okay - you think that. Billy said the right thing and we will show it on the field. That's the way i want.it. I dont give a chit what Norvell said or thinks. FSU is stuck with that POS.

That whole mosh pit melee was pretty tame comparatively. We've been involved in worse. Glad the stadium was mostly empty. Things can get out of hand.

Flagpole stuff...not a fan. I would have the team circle up and pee on the logo. I'm sorry, did I type that? I thought I was only thinking it.

Oh well. Weird game IMHO. A win is a win, though. Dominant. Defense was pretty sick again.

I hope DJ can get healthy again soon. I hope we get a decent opponent and maybe the Gator bowl.

Agree. If they can’t defend their own field, we can plant a victory flag.
FSU dug up pieces of our field, hit late “to the echo of the whistle,” intentionally tried to cleat our running back, tried to take Danny Weurffel’s head off, etc. FSU has been poor sports for decades against us and I could care less what their coach, players, and fans think. To beat FSU, you can’t let them get away with their rough play and intimidation. Great game tonight.
