I get that but that wasn’t the situation. They scored to make it 24-9. They weren’t cutting to an 8 point lead. It was either gonna be a 13-14-15 point lead. Guess it was just to get a rep. Seems silly.

Seriously? The punchline should be OSU losing, UM losing and neither going to their Championship games! That’s the punchline. Not UF turning around a season that looked terrible in September, beating their rival on their field with a crushing defensive performance.
His rationale was that by cutting it to thirteen even if we kicked a field goal they could still tie with two scores. If they are down 14 and we kick a filed goal they are down 3 scores.

I would not condone my children reacting to a team planting a flag on our turf that is 7-5 and has not played for a national championship in almost 20 years.
