Seems like the defense really made improvement this year but I feel like we really need an offensive coordinator if we are ever going to be an elite program again.
You know what I say about the postgame activities on the field. Screw them. I'm so sick of watching them dance around with that gator head when they beat us in the Swamp. So much satisfaction at the end of a salvaged season.
Watching the Texas game. Their head coach just ordered his players of the Texas AM logo which is the right thing to do. They won the game. That's all you need to say.
They played very hard. I'm surprised we didn't dominate even more holes are so bad. We didn’t play as well as the last 2 games but we're always in control.
LMAO, Okay thanks made no sense to me. Plus I was trying to redirect the the read to post game discussion(flags planting not included.)
Billy took the high road, do you think he should have squared up to him. Better to just walk away and let Norvell look like a fool.
It was kind of a strange game in that it was never in doubt. No tight stomach/bubble guts even though it was relatively close for most of the game. They just looked that handicapped with the ball in their hands. They are a monumentally terrible team with surprisingly good special teams. They may well have the best kicker in the country and have only managed to give him 13 attempts in 12 games.
We did just couldn’t convert on the O as much as we should have. 8 sacks like 12 TFL 4 fumble recovered. O was out of sync for half the game.
It's a common tactic now that when you're down 14 late and score a TD to cut it to 8 that you go for two. I won't cover all of the logic here, its not complicated but in short you're about twice as likely to benefit than get burned if you go on to score a second TD. Even though this happened when cutting the lead from 21 to 15 I think Norvell was using the same logic. I also think Norvell was trying to get an extra rep in for his frosh QB.
What was it, 8 fumbles? Not sure I’ve ever seen that before. A little scary to think how things might have gone had they played more cleanly.
Love it. Only thing missing is one of our players dropping a deuce in their end zone and the night would have been complete.
A spear is a weapon. The planting of it by forcefully thrusting it into the ground is an act of violence that the biased college football world lets FSU get away with every home game every year. and even if they don’t intend it that way when they do it every home game, it can be reasonably interpreted to be such.
Or, better yet. Don’t let our team look like a bunch of clowns. Everyone’s acting like Billy is some kind of badass. Dude let the Seminoles get away with it on our field. Then when Mike actually rips the flag off and won’t shake his hand Billy is trying to chase him down and apologize.
Anyways, the important thing is FSU is in a very bad place on the field. I don't think 1 transfer portal is gonna fix all their problems and the HS recruiting has been lackluster. They probably got another rebuild needed. I still don't like BN's offense, that likely won't change, but I also don't see him giving it up. D is gonna have some very big shoes to fill on the DL with Banks and Jackson likely gone to the NFL. A lot of toung talent really came on down the stretch all over the defense though.
