Nobody played more than 27 minutes and 10 played at least 10 minutes. A good distribution especially since we played just 24 hours earlier Florida 88-51 Wichita State (Nov 29, 2024) Box Score - ESPN
Can anyone who follows the program closer than I let me know what is going on with the Canadian Giant Olivier Rioux, I would think a game like today would be ideal for him to get some some late minutes if he is healthy?
We now know how good we can be if Condon hits threes and his free throws. Not something I expect every game. With that we could make everybody look silly.
Since he is a sophomore playing behind Zay would be less than ideal, would likely transfer or go back overseas and be a miss for TG
It's good to see him hit some 3s. Now he needs to be ready for the next step. If he can draw a big out to cover him, he needs to be able to drive to the hoop.
The good thing with him is that he has great form, very natural. I think that’s an advantage for someone who picks up the game late, they don’t develop bad habits when they’re younger - he’s been well-coached and it shows
I just don’t see that continuing. If they hit them, they hit them. I want those dudes in the paint collecting offensive rebounds and finish at the rim.
Kajus hasn't even played this season, seems like Todd wants to play him minutes but he just is not there. If he can't find minutes in the SEC, and find it hard he'd want to come back as a junior with Denzel and likely two portal players taking his minutes, probably Alex Lyold as well. That late in the summer can't blame Todd but his whole European experiment isn't working out so far. Urban is shooting 1/10 from deep this season, if he can't hit shots, UF is better off just playing 8 guys or maybe Zay since Urban has been playing the 2 and 3 this season.
Just to be clear, I’m not predicting this happens. We would be far better with Klavzar gradually working his way up to a 15-20 minute, 7-9 point, shot creator off the bench, along the lines of Brett Nelson as a frosh, or maybe Erv Walker. Would really help offensively when Clayton sits, and might factor into some other interesting combos even with Clayton, especially against aggressive ball pressure. But he does not even look at the remotely comfortable yet.
