Brandon Olson, Locked on Gators, suggests Tashawn Gelcy may be flipping to FSU. Florida pitched him for a TE position. FSU pitching him for a receiver. I suppose it depends on what position he wants to play. Not to be a downer on a great day for Gator Recruiting! By the way for any of uz that maybe hit the Wild Turkey (liquid kind) too hard. I’ve been expecting Gelsey to switch for a few weeks. He and his family really think he is a WR. He doesn’t like the idea of adding weight or playing TE in general and isn’t thrilled with how UF has used the TE this year. Now with all that said Look at who UF is after and has a decent chance at and tell me the coaching staff wouldn’t trade Gelsey for one of the 4/5 stars left on our board. If he flips.. it’s one more spot opening up. And remember UF is planning to go big in the portal this year.
I would hate this but FSU has two true freshman starting now. But, our TE room is going to be stacked next year. Hanson, Bordingham (if he returns), Livingston, Zip (if he returns) to go along with the Air Force transfer and Amir Jackson. Jackson is the big name next year.
