Wait.. did he buy this as a gift to free speech or to make money? You are arguing with yourself now. You should probably keep notes cuz you cant debate a rando on the internet without getting lost in your flip flopping.

If we believe what people like that say, every time they say something, we would have whiplash from their inconsistencies and hypocrisies.

Bluesky seems to be functioning as the Wailing Wall for the Trump deranged.

One feature of Blue Sky that I’m starting to appreciate is the lack of porn so far. On X way over half of my “followers” use photos of half-naked women as an avatar and invite me to pay to join their OF club. Other very graphic porn is often hidden in the comments of otherwise inoffensive posts. Porn Hub blocks NC users from its website yet very available on X. Have not run into that on Blue Sky yet though it’s probably only a matter of time.

LOL. I bought a new Bronco for multiple reasons. 1. I've wanted one for 30+ years. 2. My old car had 175k miles. 3. I knew the resale on Broncos would hold up as opposed to some other cars.

I didn't realize I had to explain that there can be multiple reasons to do something. Guess I'll spell it out for you in the future...

Oh, so the better thing to do is listen to some rando on a message board instead of the person themselves. Got it...

Of course not. Speaking only for me, I form my opinions based on experience. I usually have a pretty good BS-meter, but with Musk, he contradicts himself all the time by his actions and his words. I don’t believe his statement that he bought Twitter to further free speech, and I don’t believe his actions support free speech.

Honestly, I’m surprised a critical thinker such as yourself would accept a guy like Musk at their word on something like this.

What actions that Musk has done to limit free speech? Would love to hear.

He runs algorithms that prioritize his tweets and his preferences and platforms. He also has routinely blocked posters who criticize him and his ideas. His volumization of his tweets and ideology further suppresses opposing points. At least those are some of the claims.

LOL. So he doesn't want to deal with someone who might be spamming him? So what? That doesn't mean he is against free speech. Have you ever blocked anyone on here? I haven't but I know plenty who have. Not any different. I'm gonna need more than this to honestly change my opinion of Musk.

I am not the one claiming I bought Twitter to have the only pure free speech platform, while taking measures to suppress and degrade speech which I don’t sanction. But, no, I don’t block people.
