Ole Miss was supposed to impress their will on our offense, but our D gave them some licks, and our O jammed the run down their throats.
Jack Pyburn is a tough football player. He and Tyrek Sapp are two tough DE’s and Cam Jackson in the middle, wow. Our defense has some studs. Let them out of their cages in Tallahassee hungry! I am not forgetting all the tough guys that do their part, DL, LB’s and DB’s that have been bringing it all year, congrats to hanging together and deserve all the accolades coming your way.
I recall when Bobby Pruitt revamped his plan and determined to set loose our fantastic D line that included Mark Campbell, Ellis Johnson, and Kevin Carter. He said he was going to “get the big dogs off the porch and let them go hunting.” And he did. That was a thrill to watch.
