Yep, its true. Tounkara and Medlock With a public backing from the University admin on the future of head coach Billy Napier, and back to back wins over Top25 opponents, the Florida Gators have been hoping to use that in order to flip a handful of targets ahead of the Early Signing Period on December 4. One of those names that Florida has been making moves with in the last few months is Riverdale (Fla.) Charles Drew three-star Jahari Medlock. He's been committed to Cincinnati since the summer, but the Gators have been trending upward in his recruitment, and flipped his verbal pledge coming out of a visit to Gainesville this past weekend. Ever since the Florida Gators offered at the end of October, they've been a major player for League City (TX) Clear Springs three-star wide receiver Muizz Tounkara. At the time of his UF offer, Tounkara was committed to the Arizona Wildcats. That commitment had been in place since July, but came to an end when he flipped his verbal pledge after spending the weekend in Gainesville on an official visit. During the visit, it became apparent this move was brewing, and after leaving campus this past Sunday, he was ready to make the change the following Monday. Whats that? 18 Now?? Thanks Candy!
The trio of new commits joins a growing UF class that moved from No. 26 to No. 20 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with their pledges. They are the fifth, sixth and sevenths commitment in the past 2 1/2 weeks since the Gators opted to retain head coach Billy Napier for next season. In that time, the Gators have pulled off consecutive upsets of LSU and Ole Miss to get themselves bowl-eligible after a 4-5 start. What were we 3 weeks ago, 50th, or somethin?
One or two more big time skill position players and we just need to kill it in the transfer portal with OL/DL and we are in business!!!
I think some linemen may come into play before this is over. But yeah UF is working those two 5 star recievers, I hope at least one of em flips.
Oh crap!!!, the WR is not a good fit for us as none of will be able to spell his name without butchering it. Good size, though, what's his 40 time?
Good question. Hell i keep looking at Arizona State top WR and wonder if we can tamper and get em lol. Keep that ASU to UF WR pipeline going
