It's the craziest thing -- teams have crumbled against us with DJ in uniform. Look at the texas game, no DJ, and our defense couldn't stop a middle school team. DJ shows back up and its lights out. Last night we got bailed out by some horrible repetitive 4th down calls by lane, but we stepped up on all of them but maybe 1.

I did think clock management at the end would get us, if we burned the clock more on the 2nd to last possession, ole miss has no time left when they got the ball back - usually those little things results in loses, somehow this team has found a way.

I'll say it again and probably be banned -- DJ should have started from week 1. Its DJ or bust, my son even last night said, watch hollywood from bama transfer to florida to play with DJ.

I've been extremely critical of napier, I still think play call was extremely suspect last night. We still see routes running short of first down markers etc. But players are actually blocking now, stepping up and playing for each other.

Where was this in week 1 -- i've said this all year, stop with the we don't have the talent nonsense, we have the dang talent, time to coach the boys up, and take the training wheels off!!

DJ only completed 10 passes last night, they is a crazy stat.
If i'm a grad transfer at WR, i'm coming to florida next year -- sign me the f*** up!

The only stat that really matters is the "W" in the win column.

It's kinda cute n funny that the vollies are chomping. Then again, I'd just assume that they get Vandy'd right out the playoff. Screw the vols. I wan't nothing but disappointment & failure for them.

I posted in mid week that Ole Miss was going to be a challenge.
Ole Miss had the number 2 offense in the nation and the number 16 Defense in the nation.

I did not see the game but I just watched the high lights and I am impressed with both the Gator Offense and Defense had some not so good moments. However, the had many stellar moments and they rose to occasion.

This program is on the way up I saw some good plays on the Gator O-line as well on the Gator D Line. The execution for the most part impressive. One thing that I really liked was how the Gator D was swarming to the Ball. They stopped a lot of running and passing plays dead in the tracks.

Going back to my prior post, I said the only statistic that counts is the Score. Today the Gators won that stat for the sixth time this season. They have a good chance to win it for 7th and 8th time.

Speaking of stats:
Ole Miss had a definite edge on the passing stats (yardage and completions).
Ole Miss had the edge on first downs 24/19.
UF had the edge on the rushing stats. 164/141.
UF had a 3 to 1 edge on Turnovers.
Time of Possession was a 50/50 split.
The kicking game had UF with a slight edge,
Penalties was a 50/50 spit.

Over all UF had a great game for a team that is not ranked and for beating the 9th rank team.

Score Board (the most important stat) was UF 24 and Ole Miss 17.

I agree up to a point with him. However you still need to have more points on the board then your opponent. There is no disrespect aimed at okeechobee.

Turnovers on downs are turnovers and i believe its statistically unlikely to win with two turnovers. What are the statistics if ol miss had five turnovers and florida ha one. I think the exact statistic is 24-17, give or take a fourth and one.

I had several local beers. Loved the “Big Swell” the best . Can’t remember the others . My first experience with the Mai Tai ! Wow really good. played 5 times at both the KaaNapali and Kapalua courses.Cannot describe how beautiful. Pacific views at every hole.
shot between 82-86 . We played once in Los Angeles on the way over at Sterling Hills in Ventura.

Do not spend time evaluating Paul Finebaum’s biases. At one time many decades ago he could have been the next Tony Barnhart or Hubert Mizell, but instead he took the path to being the next Skip Bayless. He’s a carnival barker.
