Elite LB Ty Jackson has flipped his commitment to the #Gators. He had been committed to USC(Trojans). Massive way to start the week for @Coach_BNapier and his staff. And thats just on the defensive side of the ball................... The Gators now have a pair of linebackers committed in the 2025 class. While there are still some wanted targets on the Gators board this cycle, Jackson was one of, if not the top remaining wants out there. He's been a priority target for quite some time, and someone Billy Napier and his coaching staff have worked hard to keep in the state. "Being close to home is always one to be honest with you," Jackson said in the past of attractions UF has to sell. "Getting back on campus a lot, being able to do that, it's always good. Just the people." Jackson has been nothing but productive on the high school level for Seminole Ridge. In his first three years playing varsity football, he's amassed an impressive 378 tackles. This past season, he accounted for 135 tackles (4 TFL), 4 forced fumbles, two sacks, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. Other teams in the mix for Jackson included Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Penn State, and USC. Thats an impressive list of elite recruiting schools after this young man.
4 star LB Our class is now up to #19. Dude can play. Also plays WR and Kick returner in the video. He looks 5 Star to me?
Freakin LOVE it! ESPN has him as the #1 ILB. Two years in a row we have nabbed the top LBs. Graham and Chiles have already showed they deserve playing time.
Grate news, but at 205 lb, is he expected to redshirt or is that a typo or does he play bigger than he is?
