That LB room in 2025 is going to be FILTHY!!! Not even including Shemar James who could, and probably should, return for one more year.
Liking that group for sure. Who’s the alpha dog??? Myles??? Chiles??? Myles & Chiles has a ring to it!!!
Its been a long time since we can say that. Weve had a few good ones the last decade or so but never the depth.
I really like the entire LB room, kind of amazing how far they have come since last year. Robinson is the one I see being a guy next year. I saw him moving other guys around on defense several times Saturday like he knew where everyone should be at every position. You expect it from Shemar since he's making the calls, but i saw Robinson moving other defenders to different sides of the formation and changing coverage assignments.
Don't leave out Jaden. J., J., Myles and Chiles...sounds like a law firm commercial. "Did you just get hit by a truck? Call J. J., Myles and Chiles. It was us, we'll run you over again."
I agree! James will improve his draft ranking with one more season. If he does opt to the NFL for next season, he will get drafted. However, I do not think he hill go high. Thus a smaller NFL payday. On the other hand, if he stays next year, he should improve his financial position, barring injuries.
B…you are spot on. I swear I was thinking about these four. Robinson was kind of an odd man out and he has played very well. The lb room is alive and well. Excellent post hombre. Do more.
i loved LAST year when they threw Robinson out there following the UGA game, obviously due to James being out the remainder of the year, and let him just figure it out. That’s coming back to help this year cause Robinson has popped a lot this year. I’m glad the DL has been improved which keeps the LB’s free and clean to make plays.
We are recruiting well in this area. Big improvement with Billy. We just need the defensive line to follow suit and get stacked there.
Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. Makes a staff's job so much easier during the season and we all know that those drafted give staff more to impress recruits with.
NIL is changing the way this works as sticking around is not the guaranteed financial hit it used to be. I do hope he stays. He seems to like being a gator.
When kids see true freshman getting a good amount of snaps, it helps recruitment. If I recall, James started as a freshman…at least later in the year. Graham has been in a lot the last couple games and making a lot of plays. Don’t know Chiles’ snap count but I know he gets in there and made a fantastic PD during the LSU game. Recruits see that and know they have a chance to get on the field early
Not LB related but we eating off FSU commit list. This in the works too https://247sports.com/college/flori...on-louis-at--265890/CurrentExpertPredictions/
