Honestly, the D imo is the main reason why we have not only turned things around but won the last two games. And the amazing thing is that we have done this with so many of our starters on D out.
Harris & Chatman > Raymond & Spencers.. Probably the biggest offseason move CBN made was getting rid of Raymond & Spencer. The upgrade in coaching staff is easily noticeable for all to see. Amazing job on the Dline by Chatman & also Harris on the back end. Coverage, tackling, assignment football and cohesiveness all light years better than previous years.
Can you imagine how much experience and team spirit this unit is building. I hope that the defensive recruits get t hang out with these guys before they commit elsewhere.
I hope the team doesn't go into this game with the attitude that it's already won because they showed up.
