   Yep, some kids just want to be on their favorite team, some kids actually want to play, and, in todays game, some will chase the paycheck.

   Agree. And some, especially in softball where the chances of making a pro career of it, choose a school based on academics and providing them with a degree they can pursue the career of their dream. I'm pretty sure that's an attraction for at least some of our athletes, especially softball players.
