I, like just about everyone else, really like Billy Napier. It's hard to imagine what he's been through and he could be gloating that he's proved his detractor's wrong. Instead he is gracious and self effacing. A really good man that hopefully will grow as a coach. It's been a while since I felt this good this late in the season.

Didn't see it posted anywhere and man ESPN did him beyond dirty robbing us fans of this interview. BN is unquestionably emotional and a GREAT interview given everything this program has endured this season.

I find most interviews with football coaches just boring. Some are less boring than others but it's rare that a coach says anything insightful or interesting, post game especially.

It was what you want to hear a coach say, as a person he represents the university and in turn its alumni and fans well.

At least BN comes off as genuine, and well spoken. None of the Darth Vader crap like the previous coach.

To the people saying DJ bailed out a bad CBN: watch DJ in the presser.

He was asked how he could make throws with defenders draped on him. He said the coaches prepare him, they actually practice that very thing.

My hot take: now is not the time to bring in an outsider as OC with a radical overhaul. DJ came for Billy's system. It's starting to work.

we need to scheme WRs open or get talented kids that can get open without the scheme. They and a good OL make QBs look good.
