What’s the backstory on that? Why is a dressed out player out there like that?

 

I posted in mid week that Ole Miss was going to be a challenge.
Ole Miss had the number 2 offense in the nation and the number 16 Defense in the nation.

I did not see the game but I just watched the high lights and I am impressed with both the Gator Offense and Defense had some not so good moments. However, the had many stellar moments and they rose to occasion.

This program is on the way up I saw some good plays on the Gator O-line as well on the Gator D Line. The execution for the most part impressive. One thing that I really liked was how the Gator D was swarming to the Ball. They stopped a lot of running and passing plays dead in the tracks.

Going back to my prior post, I said the only statistic that counts is the Score. Today the Gators won that stat for the sixth time this season. They have a good chance to win it for 7th and 8th time.

Speaking of stats:
Ole Miss had a definite edge on the passing stats (yardage and completions).
Ole Miss had the edge on first downs 24/19.
UF had the edge on the rushing stats. 164/141.
UF had a 3 to 1 edge on Turnovers.
Time of Possession was a 50/50 split.
The kicking game had UF with a slight edge,
Penalties was a 50/50 spit.

Over all UF had a great game for a team that is not ranked and for beating the 9th rank team.

Me too. I wanted BN shitcanned after the scum debacle, but I truly believe I was wrong and that his vision for Florida football is coming to fruition.

 

You can see there was some holding there but he still should be able to shed a block by now.

 

The way he has turned this ship around, on both sides of the ball, is commendable. Imagine if Lagway doesn't get injured against UGA and we go for the TD and convert at Tenn. This is the most competitive team we've had in a while and we're YOUNG. Another great recruiting cycle and next year we're looking good

Maybe. However, we still have two games to win. I think we smash fsu. If he can win a bowl game and finish with 8 then solidify a pretty good class, and hire an OC, most of us will feel pretty good.

 

Two weeks ago, Ole Miss handles Georgia, gets a bye, then loses to UF. Ha!
