I don’t think it is crow for me. Objectively I thought BN wasn’t performing and based on first two years where we tanked late, I saw little hope. Never stopped going/watching but want the best for Gators. BN getting his team to play to a Gator standard - now. “When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?” (Keynes quote disputed). I haven’t seen this from a BN team, have you? I’m super happy.
Just like that, he earned it. Absolutely no coach is getting fired for improving in the previous record, while beating two ranked teams to do it. All while missing most of the secondary and his QB playing on a bad leg. Potentially 8-5 is other worldly from where they started.
The kicker is we are going for two in Knoxville and a hamstring injury in Jax from being 9-3 and likely headed to the playoffs.
I said last week when everyone was looking head to beating FsU I was like after LSU I’m eyeing ole miss. I think I’m not only happy because we feel and look good right now but the idea of Lane being coach was keeping me up at night and I not only like CBN but I’m sooooo happy for him. Nice as they come.
