Like a lot of us, I was mad after Miami and Texas A&M, but I am damn glad CBN is our coach. He is building something special and doing it the right way. High character guy with a high character team that plays their asses off for each other, the coaching staff, and our university.

I disagree with both of you on that one point. The rest of your post is fine but I assure you I will always remember LK insisting that #89 could get a first down if he just kept giving him chances. There are many coaches I dislike but still have some respect for, but Kiffin has been a P.O.S. since 2009, both his public accusation at Urban and how he bailed on the Vols for Southern Cal after talking his ass off. His decisions today are just more reasons to consider him disloyal & incompetent.

 

I am not a Gator alum. I just happened to teach at UF for over 35 years.

I am not a fan of football.

But I am a season ticketholder for Gator basketball and baseball so in some sense I am a rabid Gator.

I am not a huge football fan but I do watch Gator football and wish them well.

Let me say that I am impressed with what this team had accomplished.

Go Gators.

And please kick the snot out of FSU. I don't care that they are down.

 

From irrelevant at the start of the season, to potentially ranked. CBN hasnt turned it around fully, and it shouldnt have taken getting to the last fingernail of getting canned but here we are. THE UNSUNG HEROS of this season, are the defensive players going to CBN and saying WTF DO BETTER! Go Gators!

For now, getting another season—sure! Still doubt he’ll get us next level.

But wholeheartedly impressed how the team went from verge of despair to remarkable improvement, solidarity, and with bonafide confidence.

After the Miami game I believed it. It has been a season of real progress, especially on defense. Hope springs eternal.
