POST Game Discussion Ole Piss vs Gators

Pre season shmee season. Remember how we thought and agreed with the pros that we might not win any of our last five?

 

Our defense allowed 464 yards. We came up big, but it's like playing slot machines. If our defense was so good they could pick and choose which moments to stop Ole Miss, we would not have given up the 464 yards in the first place. These two wins are still way better than what we were getting, so I am not complaining. It's just that we won't continue winning games losing the total yardage battle like that.

 

Holding both teams to under 20 is a strategy for success. It worked both times.

There's nothing wrong with looking at the stats and analyzing them. I'm sure we will improve further. Lagway has great room for growth.

100 percent correct. Nobody will remember and nobody will care and the Gators have been on the other end staring at an L like this many times.

Our players, media and recruits only see that we won and that’s how you build momentum. So excited for the kids, staff, coaches, BN and BN’s family(they’ve been through a lot). Beat the Semis like a drum, recruit like crazy and get to those bowl game practices and have fun!

Lapping up the crow for the second week in a row. I hope this continues. I am still not a fan of BN. The players win despite his play calling and coaching.

But I have to give him props, the team has showed up for all but three games. The late season surge is a nice welcome change.

Also, having a good QB, makes a coach look better. I think DJ is a special QB.

 

Hello Gator Nation. I must say, after the e last two weeks, the thing I am most looking forward to is Mullen's pained expression on Game Day Final when they show this game and the highlights and talk about the turnaround. It will be glorious!

those f'ing announcers were literally BEGGING ole miss to pull off the win at the end...the bias is so obvious...

 

Once there was no score in the 1st quarter, that let me know this was going to be a game. Holding Ole Miss to 17 points is a miracle in itself.
