Who is talking about expectations? Ole Miss should be leading this game. They have shot themselves in the foot.
Hopefully they start to pucker knowing their entire season is on the line. I would love a soul crushing, all run drive for a TD but we never do that.
Who's bitchin? If you're talking about complaints about how the half ended, that's not bitchin. Those are called opinions. You have one as well. Feel free to use it whenever you'd like buddy....
Two impressive things I saw the first half: 1. We ran the ball and controlled the clock much better than I thought we could. 2. Lagway is a gamer. His vision and quick release are exceptional. Our secondary is still a mess. Maybe we can hang in there the 2nd half and pull off the upset.
Yep... Add in how explosive Mississippi's O is and the bad field position was established after the punt, playing it safe was fine.
Well they missed a FG, got stuffed on 4th down and lost a couple of starters so not sure everything went their way.. Gators dominating the ground game, could be 2nd half difference. Adjustments, if any will be interesting.
Unfortunate in hindsight. But punting at that time ands in that situation was absolutely the right call.
Overall Billy is calling a decent game. If we can get the running game going, and it looks like we're close, we will win this game.
I agree. This is just classic “Napier is bad” whining. Napier doesn’t throw the ball downfield 3 times from our 30 yard line and leave Miss time to score but it’s too confusing so bad coaching. Same old same old.
Side note unrelated, but flipped to 1/2assu during halftime. Our D line should have a lot of fun next week.
I don’t mind it honestly. You have a banged up qb against one of the best defenses in the country, deep in your own territory, tie ball game at home when you get the kick off 2nd half. Lagway does throw a nice deep ball, but they would probably be expecting it with 2 deep safety. Plus he’s already thrown an int. One area I feel Lagway needs improvement is middle of the field intermediate passes. Napier was probably seeing if any of the runs broke free for long gains and then get aggressive in their territory.
I like logic. Everyone wants Kiffin. He has better players (at least that’s what the world thinks), he’s such a great coach (what everyone thinks), they are playing for everything end we’re playing for a bad bowl and pride, we’re un ranked and they are #9 with a better record and we’re un ranked. Which coaches are calling a better game and don’t forget that 7 came off a great but lucky pick for them. Who’s calling a better game? Logic.
