You are right about Schutte and her power. I was there the day she got hit in the jaw and had it broken. I believe it was a throw from SS to first that hit her in the face/jaw not a line drive. At that time most of the players wore just a covered helmet and no face mask as they do now. She still has a far as I remember the 2 longest HR's I ever say at KSP. One cleared the trees and landed some 15 to 20 feet beyond the road and of course we all remember her HR that hit the passing car in the side mirror. That's what he gets for not going to the game!!!

Did you get a chance to talk with CTW this past weekend?

How in the heck is it not February already? Sweet Jesus I’m excited about this team and seeing the orange and blue represented with the honor and respect it deserves. P.S. if you season ticket holders can’t make a game keep me in mind

I do still have toddlers so the earlier I’m aware of potential tickets the better. More time to secure a quality babysitter.

I did not talk to CTW at the game(his sons went, not him) but I did at the intersquad scrimmage but as so many people were there and around I only asked about 2 of the items. First, why is there no radio, tv, or streaming coverage of the fall games? His response was that the UAA will not pay for it (what a surprise). He also said that is why there are no concessions or merch sales as the UAA will not staff the facility. You can tell the UAA does not know jack about SB as the stadium was about 90% capacity against FSU, 60% capacity against College Of Central Florida and about 1,000 fans for the intersquad game. Prime food, beverage, merch time. As far as the press coverage with floridagators.com, the same is true with the UAA not paying Lauren to be there. No surprise there either. If it was football, they would have had at least 20 people working a practice (sarcasm). If he comes this weekend, I will get the update on our other questions.

As far as tickets, OB77 you can always buy a berm seat then contact Sandman, Scrappy or myself at the game and see if we have room in our section behind home plate.

Thanks for posting. Have you noticed the video people like to cut to a new picture or video faster than us old people can get their eyes focused? I certainly would have like to identify who and what they were doing, especially the Gators.

    Re: Spicing up preseason practice.
Without regard for rules, finances or common sense, let me share this weird idea I have.
Since northern teams have difficulty getting outdoor practice time, why not invite 3 teams to come down from Thur-Sun and share our facilities for practice and scrimmages. Use the mornings for individual weight training, indoor and outdoor practice. Thursday thru Saturday hold round robin scrimmages. On Sunday, if allowed, the Gators could play exhibitions against the three visitors or for a little spice, choose up sides for four teams and play four games with the winners and losers of the first two games playing each other in the second two. I’d bet there would be a big crowd bringing can goods on Sunday!

In the 2025 class, we’ve signed Makenna Bellaire. She is a catcher.

This is last year's picture at Thanksgiving. I made the mistake of standing by Brooke, and she gave me a wedgie.

Killian is the prospect I was referring to-thnx.
From a news source which charges…so I got a snippet.
Mount Carmel junior Avery Killian impressed University of Florida softball coaches with her pop time of 1.5 seconds — the amount of time between the ball hitting the catcher’s mitt and when it reaches the intended fielder’s glove at second base. They also liked how she commanded the diamond. It was a skill that took time to develop. “I used to be really shy, and I never really was loud enough,” Killian said. “But then I went to some camps, and they told me I needed to be louder.”

That is a 93-year-old woman who you do not want to try to outwork.
