Like I said in another thread, I hope that even if DJ won't be able to scramble that we do it once early on to at least give the perception that he *could* do it for the rest of the game... CBN is going to have to have a really good game plan, and our guys are going to have to be on their A-game in order to have a shot at this one!

 

Yes. The Ole Miss pass rush is really good, so it is key for Lagway to avoid it. Let's hope his hamstring is good to go.

In this case, lets hope that the Gator O Line opens up some holes for the Gator running backs. They have shown us that they can rip off some big gainers.

 

Lets see Princely have Baugh run right by him. Seems familar.

 

Lagway's best pass was when he was under major pressure, and he simply stepped up in the pocket and flicked the ball right into Badger's hands, where he was tackled at the one-foot line. So at worst it was hit-and-miss for him under pressure. But to say he wasn't very efficient is misleading, because the percentages of pass completions under pressure doesn't tell the whole story.

But it would be nice to see Lagway play with more mobility...

 

Hope Lagway can run and run early. There is more film on him and good defenses can scheme something up to confuse him. Ole Miss will be watching to adjust their game plan if he looks like he can run.

 

IMO, one of the biggest stories of the LSU game was the two interceptions that LSU had that they did not get. Lagway has occasional mental yips (as do most true freshmen) and it would be REALLY good if he does not have any bad ones for this game.
