    Are you inferring that because the Republicans won their case at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court the lawsuit filed by the Democrats on behalf of Casey was frivolous? Using the same logic I assume you would agree that the lawsuits filed by the Trump Campaign in 2020 and by Kari Lake in 2022 were also frivolous.

    This is rich. The democrat who advocated for breaking the law to try to steal an election apologizes:

    What she is sorry for is that she got caught because she didn't keep her mouth shut:

    One Pennsylvania Democrat is trying to do some damage control after her remarks during the contentious, expensive, and unnecessary recount in the state’s U.S. Senate race were taken out of context. There’s nothing nuanced about wanting to violate the law, lady. That’s what Bucks County commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia got caught saying when she and Bob Harvie, another Democrat, voted to count suspect ballots. They said the quiet part out loud.

    Ellis-Marseglia, a Democrat, blamed a “misinterpretation of [an] inartfully worded statement on my part” after her comment drew rebukes from President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign and the state’s Democratic governor, among a host of others, after Bucks County was one of several that defied a guidance from the state’s high court and voted to accept undated mail ballots.

    “I apologize for all the upset and confusion it caused,” Ellis-Marseglia said about her comments.

    Yawn. Let me know when Trump apologizes for trying to steal the 2020 election, filing all of those totally frivolous lawsuits and starting an insurrection.

    Has anyone talked about bullet ballots and the crazy % of them in several states? It's usually less than 1% of all ballots. In some important states they were upwards of 11%.

    The assumption that the issues involved with the contested ballots currently being litigated are the identical issues involved in the PASCt case is erroneous. There are also applicable Federal laws dealing with the processing of provisional ballots. Those posting about these issues would be well served to at least read the briefs and appellate court's order. In a footnote there is a one paragraph, clear and concise explanation for their ruling.

    So Bob Casey is an election denier? I always thought that an election denier was a politician who refuses to concede after losing an election (the same applies to supporters of said candidate's false narrative). Doesn't seem to apply to Bob Casey although it still applies to Kari Lake following the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election as well as this year's Senatorial election not to mention Donald Trump following the 2020 presidential election.

    Reading that article it said the cost of the recount will cost the taxpayers $1 million dollars. Would a better method be if you demand a recount you have to pay for it, unless the recount changes the result, then the state pays? A person who is 50,000 votes behind would be less likely to challenge than someone who is 50 votes behind.

    You mean once he got blasted by the PA supreme court for trying to steal the election, he conceded? Oh, how so gracious of him.

    Bob Casey Jr. with Marc Elias' help and the support of Governor Josh Shapiro went beyond election denying into election stealing. Except for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court introducing sanity back into Pennsylvania elections, the steal plan would still be in action with democrat county election offices at the point of the spear.

    FINALLY: We Now Have a Result for the PA Senate Race

    No, Bob Casey Jr. isn't an election denier. Bob Casey Jr. is an election stealer.

    The democratic socialist party is the threat to democracy and the US Republic, not President Trump and the republicans.

    Not only the $1 million for the recount, but the difference was also .60 when the 3 large democrat counties decided to count and include illegal ballots. The democrat Pennsylvania State Department won't confirm this, but I was tracking every day through Decision Desk HQ and that is exactly what happened. The recount should have never taken place.

    Since Governor Shapiro knew this was happening, I think he should foot the bill, not the taxpayers or Bob Casey Jr. who would have stopped if the governor had spoken up as he should have. Shapiro should be disqualified from holding higher office.

    If the margin between the candidates of an election is under 0.5% in Pennsylvania it's automatic and the taxpayers fund the recount. If it's above that percentage the candidate demanding the recount pays for it. Dave McCormick won by a 0.2% margin so the taxpayers would have ended up paying for the recount. Casey waived the recount before it was completed to save the taxpayers of the state the cost of the recount. In 2022 when Dave McCormick ran for the Senate and lost in the Republican primary to Mehmet Oz he didn't waive the recount the cost of which was paid by the taxpayers of Pennsylvania.
