I would note that the article covers the period from 2019 through 2021. The last time I checked the same Republican who will be returning to the presidency in January 2025 was also the POTUS in two of those three years and the Republicans also controlled the Senate during that period. If a politician is to be blamed for the higher death rate maybe should be the one who headed the government during that period not the Democrats.

Yeah, I don't think this is much of a political issue, as in one side is responsible. I don't know if there are political solutions.

Yep, social media is a cesspool, just look at the spike in Eating disorders, body dysmorphia etc since the advent of all those platforms.
Adults have trouble with navigating it as if kids are equipped to do it.

    Terrible.

Not sure how it’s lower than pre pandemic, hell 70-80 of kids are smoking THC (vape pens make it easy).
Rates of admissions for Psychosis are shooting up, just happens to coincide with “legalization”.

I agree with most of that, but guns never considered that as an issue

Were all drugs legal in Seattle, or was it Portland. I don't think the legal route to all drugs has worked out so well.

I wonder if some of the issues come from what we put in our food and medicines.

They were doing drugs there well before legalization. If anything, it's probably more tame post legalization. When we went to a dispensary in CA (Berkeley no less), 6 months after they passed legalization, it was a ghost town. Actually drove past it because we too were looking for the typical stereotypes.

The dying is all the more dramatic when you realize that there was no such thing as Covid.

    Easily debunked as more junk.

Social media users claim the child mortality rate in Canada's Alberta province shot up more than 3,000 percent after the introduction of Covid-19 vaccines. This is false; data do not show such an extreme increase, and there have been very few deaths linked to the shots.
Deaths of young teens in Alberta between 15 and 19 did rise from about 10 a year to 46 a year during the pandemic. But there is no link to the vaccine, and vaccinated teens had a lower mortality rate, and there were zero deaths attributed to the vaccine in Alberta. And only 4 across all of Canada. COVID infection is likely the culprit that explains the excess deaths, not the vaccine.

    “There is no political solution
    To our troubled evolution
    Have no faith in constitution
    There is no bloody revolution

    Our so-called leaders speak
With words they try to jail you
    They subjugate the meek
But it's the rhetoric of failure.”
