Funny how inconvenient the Constitution is when the fascist majority gets up on their high horses.

I would be shocked if the record isn't several pages long with the judge ensuring his decision was freely, knowingly and voluntarily made and without promise or coercion.

Hold on, cowboy. Life without release (die in prison) is an available sentence in Florida for stealing a firearm from a parked car, burglarizing an unoccupied business and causing more than $1000 in damage and burglarizing a closed restaurant and stealing a carving knife among many, many more situations. You want to put those people to death?

Bunch of hypotheticals and there is no law in your statement. Life sentences should be death, period. Sentencing for certain crimes should be up for debate sure, but if you are locked up for life, end it. I don't want to pay for someone to rot in prison. It's cruel to both the prisoner and their victims.

This. They clearly showed that they don't respect the most simple norm of a functioning democracy - honoring elections.

Why would anyone expect them to respect anything else? They just parasitically claim the benefits of the system they've already sullied.

LOL. WRONG. Not hypotheticals, cases I've litigated. Try again. Thankfully, there is a constitution to prevent that thought process from being enacted into law.

    You want law? Relevant portions:
    Florida Statute 810.02 Burglary.—
    (2) Burglary is a felony of the first degree, punishable by imprisonment for a term of years not exceeding life imprisonment or as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084, if, in the course of committing the offense, the offender:
    (a) Makes an assault or battery upon any person; or
    (b) Is or becomes armed within the dwelling, structure, or conveyance, with explosives or a dangerous weapon; or
    (c) Enters an occupied or unoccupied dwelling or structure, and:
    1. Uses a motor vehicle as an instrumentality, other than merely as a getaway vehicle, to assist in committing the offense, and thereby damages the dwelling or structure; or
    2. Causes damage to the dwelling or structure, or to property within the dwelling or structure in excess of $1,000.

Wrong? I'm talking about murder and your talking about burglary? Wtf? Im talking about changing a law, which newsflash, can be CHANGED and yes, OVERRULED BY VOTERS instead of some punk ass Judge or lawyer.

The dip shit that killed a college student should be put to death AUTOMATICALLY by a new statute. Life in prison should be death. Period.
