Eddy Piniero just became what???

Good for him! Another great Gator, too bad we didn't have him for long!

 

Congratulations to Eddie Pineiro... he was fun while we had him. Another Gator great.


But, we have had some real success with kickers lately, and we have another one committed in Evan Noel... Yeah, another kicker named Evan.

That's great, we're all pulling for Eddie. Was wondering if he was going to make it in the NFL, for a while. Smack should get some run there.

 

We knew he was special when we watched him play. This is great!

McPherson didn’t have a good night for the Bengals last night

 

I remember he missed a couple of big kicks earlier in his pro career and got cut. I thought that was it and never kept track of him after that. Didn't even know he was still in the league, let alone the most accurate kicker of all time. Good for him.

 

Eddy is awesome!! So glad for him.

Meanwhile, we have TREY SMACK!!!

He was injured a lot his first few years. He must work hard. That’s a hard circle to stay in if you can’t stay healthy/aren’t reliable. I’m sure it took a lot of fighting to stay in it this long.

 

Very cool.

Side note: of all the things that Mac ever did, the one that probably irks me the most is not letting Eddy try a 60 yd field goal as time was winding down in the first half of a game. Instead, Franks threw a 30 yd pass, and time expired. Over and over again, we heard Eddy could do it. When we had a cost-free opportunity to find out, we chose to just walk to locker room with no points. WTH?!?

 

He'll be on an NFL team in the near future too.

 

He honestly hasn’t had a good year period. All this after getting a lucrative extension.
