They've gotten angrier imo.

He used to be clever and pithy.

Lately--at least pre-election--mostly spittling mad.

But then, a LOT of lefties have seemingly backed off of their rabid TDS demeanor since the election (shockingly, ironically, paradoxically....).

Go figure. Whatever the cause, it's a welcome development.

Hopefully it's so with coco too.

Weird. I see the opposite. TikTok and Youtube are highly amusing and quite creative. Twitter is just mean and combative. My kids talk all day to eachother via technology but dont necessarily talk in public through twitter and facebook.

 

It's much higher than that actually, but the point is still valid.

Hope you're cheering up a bit post election. Your posts were enjoyable, before the TDS turned them into basically a daily Trumpgasm. Fwiw.

TikTok might be the most deadly. When you hear people (often kids) dying while tryin to replicate some dumbass viral stunt, it always seems to be TikTok.

Although i guess there are people (so-called content creators) doing crazy shit while “live-streaming”, and that may be some other platform or combination of platforms.

YouTube has its own issues with spam and hosting garbage purveyors of misinformation. But that just comes with the territory of hosting user generated content. The content is only as good as its creator.

 

The entire premise of the original story is silly. It should be retitled "Now that I have hit middle age, I cannot keep up with new technologies and the "old"Internet is boring to me"!

 

I think the AI stuff is creating the crazy feeds in some social media places. I have noticed once you respond to a subject one time you start getting a ton of posts in your feed related to that issue. A lot more than earlier in 2024.
