Kind of interesting considering Trump's history of attacking perceived opponents' families. Ted Cruz' father and Mitch McConnell's wife come to mind. Neither of those "men" had the intestinal fortitude to come to the defense of their family member. This was clearly a slap in Trump's face, many important people are waiting for his reaction, if any.

 

Russia may not have scandalous unseen pictures, but this could be a threat that ‘yeah, we’ll go there’. It received global attention. There are upcoming negotiations between Trump and Putin that will have significant impacts on Russia. I imagine there will be a carrot in there for trump also.
