They can't even manage the finances in their own campaign! Dims are always looking for a handout. Good on Trump for doing this.

And you think that this guy is any more competent especially considering it's virtually impossible for casinos to lose money? It's only a matter of time before the Americans who voted for Trump ending up feeling the same way about him as the shareholders of Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts.

Thanks Ben. I’ve been super fascinated by the functioning of the prediction markets in this election. I posted this article in another thread, but it’s another very cool analysis, this one from Scott Alexander, arguing that Theo’s betting likely overpriced Trump shares. It’s a really hard problem to solve since elections are only one time events.

Congrats To Polymarket, But I Still Think They Were Mispriced

Once more it was the economy, stupid.
Young Black and Latino men say they chose Trump because of the economy and jobs.
Almost since the election was called for Trump liberal female commentators on MSNBC started claiming that the reason that young Black and Hispanic men were voting for Trump was because they were persuaded by the misogynistic "bro" culture. The reality was that like almost all of the swing voters that flipped to Trump and were responsible for his victory it was the economy. I would also add that the right-wing commentators who believe that demographic has permanently swung to the Republican party are equally incorrect. To the extent that they will be voting in the midterms they will be swinging back to Democratic candidates especially considering that a number young male Hispanic citizens will be caught up in Trump's massive deportation effort.

Veteran pollster announces she's moving on 'to other ventures' after backlash to bombshell Iowa poll

Veteran pollster J. Ann Selzer announced she was done with election polling and moving on to "other ventures" after her pre-election poll in Iowa inaccurately showed Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of President-elect Donald Trump in the state he had easily won in 2016 and 2020.

A Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa poll published November 2 found Harris leading Trump in Iowa 47% to 44%. This was a 7-point shift from Iowa polling in September, which found Trump had a 4-point advantage over Harris.

In the previous two elections, Trump handily won the state by a significant margin, defeating Hillary Clinton by 9.4 percentage points in 2016 and Joe Biden by 8.2 percentage points in 2020.

"It’s hard for anybody to say they saw this coming," Selzer told the Des Moines Register at the time of Harris' lead. "She has clearly leaped into a leading position."

They're still under the impression that Joe Biden HAD to step down for "the good of the Party" as they put it? Lol... self reinforcing delusions of grandeur. They know what's best for all others...

Remember when Democrat Too Hotters thought the Rasmussen Poll was an "outlier" and I said it was an outlier because it was accurate? Not only do many or most Democrat pollsters lie, they're paid to lie so they can reduce Republican fundraising and increase Democrat fundraising.
