I just checked the 2024 roster. That chart show that UF has about 20 Defensive Backs. It does not designate a Strong Safety nor a Free Safety position. I know that we have 4 Defensive Backs that are out with injuries. What is going on with the other 16?
They got back in the game the only way they could - with time consuming drives. We look more explosive and I definitely feel like they have the coaching advantage. I really didn't like our last drive.
I think as fans we have actually grown numb to these games due to our past performance. I remember a time when watching a game like this i knew we were going to win.
We grabbed Asa Turner from the portal to add experience at the safety position, but Miami roughed him up and he hasn't been back since.

I think we’re doing what we need to. Keep it up and maybe try to pick up some penalties we’re not getting. They called us for FM when they held and FM us which gave them a FD. Tons of missed PI calls. Otherwise, we’re playing well, all things considered and I expect lag to keep getting better even during game. Gonna need some time sense at the end of this one me thinks so whoever can count best.
Read Kelly's lips on the play where the back slipped and the snap almost went over Nussmeier's head. He said and i quote "ass hole, M-F" He's not happy at LSU, except for the money of course.
Play calling still the reason we are not winning more. Will need at least 28 to win this one, probably 30. Gotta go down the field more. Keeping it close doesn't work in the SEC...too much explosive talent.
