Why do Trump supporters act like Dementia Don is such a great candidate when they trash Harris? Newsflash: he’s not and he wasn’t. Lol.

At least no one has resorted to calling Biden & Harris Shitz & Giggles. I do have to commend you on that.

The Dems just saw a political party devote itself to lying for a candidate who clearly enacted a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election. Who, for the first time in US history, tried to not peacefully transfer power after an election.

Is that something that deserves compromise?

In fact, it deserved a trial, in order to fairly and legally determine the extent of potential criminality. But the Republican party, and corrupt judges, prevented that.

Has the Republican party shown good faith in governance that deserves "compromise" ?

People had negative comments about a guy whose entire campaign was telling racist lies?

They had negative comments about a guy who publicly lied that "They're eating the dogs! They're eating the cats!!" Who lied about FEMA giving all its money to illegal immigrants?

Shocking that someone would negatively characterize those lies! Shocking, I tell you!!

Sorry, but you don't get to whitewash the vile lies of Trump just because he won. Thread fail.

The money never worried me. I always saw it as evidence of their weak hand. After all, if he was such a bad guy, they wouldn't need to outspend him, right?

He is the first candidate in a long time to beat 3 different general election opponents. I think the only other one may be FDR.

As James Carville would say, "it's the economy, stupid!" This is what happens when you run as a single-issue candidate and have no plans nor proposed solutions for anything else, whatsoever.

*100% of women buy groceries and gasoline.
*100% of women have to worry about their jobs, their 401K, their bank accounts, finances, mortgage, and car payment.
*NOT 100% of women have abortions, or are even of child bearing age!

Irony of the whole situation is the women vote actually swung right slightly (she won 53% versus Biden's 57%). Black vote swung right (from 87% Democraft to 85). Hispanic vote swung right (from 65% Democrat to 52). Asian vote - same result (from 63% Democrat to 54). Ironically, the white male vote (where everyone thought she would suffer the most losses) was the only group that didn't swing right; exit polls estimated 37% support for Harris versus 38% support for Biden, a small difference that is well within the margin of error.

For all the berating the left has done regarding Trump's alleged racism, homophobia, sexism, etc...and all the expected blowback from it...
it is pure irony that all of the "minority" votes that Kamala courted were the ones that swung right and lost her the election.

At the end of the day, this goes to prove that her political positions and ability to lead are not as flawless as we've been led to believe.

I thought you were going to follow this line with a discourse on how Trump just repeatedly explained (with racist lying) how illegal immigrants were ruining everyone's lives.

(And I also thought you meant to say "no plans for anything at all", since he obviously has no plans to even fix this. Note, of course, that he did absolutely nothing to fix it during his first four years.)

The difference between Trump and Harris was so huge that it brought about the phrase -- too big to rig. His lead and popularity was that much better than that of Harris.

I still laugh at this notion that Trump was some great candidate who was hugely popular, or ever has been, but especially in 2024. Last I checked he is 1 for 3 in winning the popular vote, and the dude sounded like an abject moron in the majority of his outings, rambled on incoherently at every rally, and never gave us any actual policy answers (which the right lambasted Harris on time and again but he gets a pass on for some reason). It’s like we are living in two different realities when we hear Trump speak. People just have amnesia on the economy, period - that’s the entire reason he won. They (incorrectly) remember it being way better than it actually was under his leadership previously.

Hey, man. You might be right, after all, the Democrats in Democrat controlled areas all across our country this think the election is ongoing. And they're inventing more ballots as I type this... They're still counting. LMFAO! I'm sure, in the end of this clown level effort, they might even claim the election was closer than it really was.

That's President "moron" to you... :)

Is there some random (D) person somewhere saying/doing something weird? Who knows, who cares. Same with the weird pseudo-conspiracies you're fabricating in your mind and birthing in this thread.

What IS quite interesting, though -hilarious, in fact- is that you are practically orgasmic over the election of the very guy who spent FOUR (!!) years telling lies about fake election fraud -which was fine for him to do, right- but now.....

.....you are trying to project election fraud fakery onto someone else.

Fact is stranger than fiction. Self awareness no longer seems to exist.

Counting new ballots that were not gathered before the deadline is fraud...

Third Party "ballot boxes" are fraud. Several states committed voter fraud, and that is not even debatable.

Or it could mean that the con-man's marks haven't gotten any wiser. Unfortunately.

An election has little to do with a candidate's ability to lead, especially one that has never led before. All you can do is speculate based on what she says she would do. And remember: being able to lead is only useful if you are leading the group in the correct (or even a good) direction, something an egotistical con-man doesn't know much about.

I would disagree that it is the people's memory that is the problem. Aspects of the economy probably were better in 2017-2020. But not because of anything Trump did. The economy gradually recovered from the real estate collapse (with people being able to make mortgage payments again, and no longer upside-down on their mortgages. Remember that the real estate market bottomed out in 2013 in most locations. Just like inflation was worse in 2021-2024 than it was in 2017-2020. But the top two reasons for that were nothing an intelligent person would blame Biden for. Biden had to spend a fortune fighting Covid and developing a vaccine, which has never been done on this scale or level of difficulty before. Any president would have done the same, as opposed to watching millions of Americans die (in fact, Trump started the spending in 2020). And the Trump years were filled with corporate tax cuts that caused an increase in the national debt, which contributed to inflation. Most Americans are apparently not smart enough to understand those facts.
