I see cavinders are back since the WWE thing I guess was a bust. One transferred to TCU then once van lith committed she transferred back to Miami and her sister decided to play again too. Tricia Cullop is in her first year but damn she reminds me of Katie Meier lol

Well, no: Reynolds and basically no O'Neal and no Gassett. Box score doesn't look terrible. Good job fighting back in second half. I'll have to watch the replay.

 

O’Neal was in sweats after whatever happened. Hopefully it’s something precautionary. The second half was a lot more cohesive and easier to watch as a gator fan than the first half. Games like this are gonna make us better than beating a low major by 50. I think that positive takeaways were that ra shaya looks great—most of the misses she had definitely could have been called as fouls, liv was struggling a little today but she is a freshman pg and definitely got her footing by the 2nd half and looked more comfortable and ended with a nice line. Jeriah is gonna be huge for us this year and she carried the team through the worst stretches of today and showed great leadership and consistency. She is a calming presence on the floor who never gets too high or too low.

was freaking out when gassett went down because it seemed like minimal contact and she was in a lot of pain. She is really someone we NEED to stay healthy…

time to regroup. This was a veteran Miami squad who just hired a smart coach. Still think this was a winnable game.

I'm hoping to see more, but just don't see a lot to be excited about this season. Recruiting is having to lean to international and JUCO with a lot of the team graduating and probably looking at another borderline NCAA tournament bid. A lot rides on this year. Really hoping they can get it together, but this program is frustrating.

 

Does anyone know what happened to Laila Reynolds?

 

Reynolds seems to be moving well and was working out before the game what I saw, but no one has said or wants to say anything about it.
Oneal took one crazy elbow to the temple and they seem to be very careful with her but she was smiling alot from what I saw..but we share nothing with anyone. It is a guessing game with the fans and staff..admin also.

I really really want to support the program, I been there for 2 games so far and I come from NC to Gville when I can. I just feel like it is a fight to get any information about them.

Liv was really good in the 2nd half to me, I think the refs really didnt help Liv or Shayla with all the slapping and hitting they took from the Hurricane players, but you are right this will help a ton coming up. Miami is a lot like the mid level SEC teams we should match up against well this year
