The cops will arrest the first few dozen people that do this, so if you do "Swarm The Swamp"... don't try and be the first one. Lol.

 

With all due respect to SOS... this is not only a bad idea, but it's something that the lesser (never been great) schools do.

 

The three guys that made it to the field vs FSU in 1997 got hog-tied and had to lay there watching the celebration in the stands for about 30 minutes. One of 'em was a buddy of mine.

That being said, if the whole student section decided to come down there would be little the police could do to prevent it.

 

It’s been awhile since we’ve beat LSU. Hope we can pull it off. That Texas beating was pretty disheartening. It was nice when beating LSU was expected.

I agree with that to some degree. I recall vividly when UT fans tossed their goalposts in the Tennessee River. It is a little bush league IMO.

 

THBC has talked about this before, he’s always wanted see it happen just once. Beating LSU, this LSU, is not worthy of it though, unless you’re Vanderbilt. Yeah, on second thought..

Not sure how I feel about this. As a student in the 80s I remember the cops lining the perimeter of the field (sometimes with K9s). We didn’t dare swarming the field and I’m proud we don’t partake of the spectacle. But our Gators have been hurting for years now and maybe we are on the verge of breaking out of mediocrity. Would this help our spirit to turn the corner? Would this hurt our self-appreciated status of being above all that silliness? Does the HBC giving permission make it okay? I’m torn.

 

I will say Ole Miss might be a better game with it being last home game.
