Something else you posted without reading it I see, probably because you liked the title. Applying that whack job article to Trump, he's the biggest progressive who ever walked the planet.

Trump is way more into wants than needs.
He structured his tax breaks to benefit the wealthy
Trump more than anyone thinks he is an endd in himself. not a creation of God.
Trump breaks moral laws more often than anyone ever in the White House. He has trampled on eight out of the Ten Commandments.
I don't think Trump is turning to God to cure sin...he wouldn't know where to look.
Skipping one because that author is REALLY whacked.
Actually, the rest of it is bullshit.

    Fail, epic.

Nice post. However, I cant imagine how Matt actually helped Trump out enough to earn an appointment. I think its just rewarding loyalty and ass kissing. Just a guess.

It gave the pedophiliac sec trafficker cover to resign 2 days before the house votes whether to release their report about what a scumbag he is, then allows him to go work in the Trump White House after he withdraws his nomination for AG or fails consent.

Why do you think Biden didn’t do more on immigration? He tightened rules this summer but too little too late. polls over last couple of years showed it was a big concern for a large majority.

Wanted political cover from Congress and got into a game of chicken (which they ultimately lost) trying to get it.

They let it become a mess early in the term while Republicans were screaming that it was a conscious decision to do so and the administration already had the authority they needed to fix it unilaterally.

The administration tried to use “we need Congressional action” as the excuse, then couldn’t back down from that because doing so would be admitting that the GOP was right that they already had authority to act unilaterally all along and had just chosen not to do so. That’s the actual reason Trump weighed in to kill the immigration bill last year - not to keep the border crisis from getting fixed, but to deny Biden political cover.

So maybe youre just a edge earl and rising through the ranks?
Md was the one notifying me of its origin. Not sure i can call it my thinking. Its been an interesting exercise. Im rife with cognitive dissonance, thinking bad guys are good guys, that dude smelling kids and showering with his daughter isnt the pedo, this dude is on the Ukraine grift and suffers from mental decline, but that dude isnt....its a whirlwind. So im a training program designed to remind folks that until i transition im a agent.
    Truly fascinating

It’s the one place she would be safe from a Jewish Space Laser. They are not permitted to target it at Israel.

Obviously I agree with this premise. But honestly, which of the picks so far are NOT the product of back door promises?

Bit at its core, your point is exactly why recess appointments are both reckless and undermining of our system.

But Huckabee’s views on Israel/Palestine are not nearly as funny as Jewish space lasers.

Trump is nominating Kimberly Guilfoyle for Surgeon General, because "She's had the most surgery".

Dropped by to see Trump supporters cheer for the appointment of an allged sexual predator and alleged sex trafficker to be "America's top cop." Interesting to note that we can now expect the "anti-groomer", "law and order" Republicans fight to keep all relevant info on Gaetz from being released.

Just Republicans trying (again) to cover up potential CRIME from their leadership....

House Ethics committee was set to meet this week to vote on releasing Gaetz report

The House Ethics Committee was due to meet this week to vote on releasing a report about Matt Gaetz, who resigned from Congress on Wednesday after President-elect Donald Trump announced his intention to nominate the Florida congressman to serve as attorney general, according to two sources familiar with the discussions.

The committee had been probing allegations that Gaetz may have “engaged in sexual misconduct and illicit drug use, accepted improper gifts, dispensed special privileges and favors to individuals with whom he had a personal relationship, and sought to obstruct government investigations of his conduct.”

i think he felt it was the only humane thing to do. they totally failed to engage with Mexico early to restrict the flow, that was a major failure. but reality is that multiple hurricanes with massive destruction in central america, venezuela economic collapse, and then further covid economic collapse along with a total security failure there drove those refugees. what were we to do with them when we got here? screw them is the good christian thing to do if you listen to much of MAGA, sn't it??

Interestingly on the Venezuela front, one of the last things Trump did on his way out of office was to extend the amount of time for Venezuelan migrants to stay here without risk of deportation.

    https://apnews.com/general-news-international-news-88ba0f2a51b35bf8195e886d4210e5c3

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — With the clock winding down on his term, U.S. President Donald Trump shielded tens of thousands of Venezuelan migrants from deportation Tuesday night, rewarding Venezuelan exiles who have been among his most loyal supporters and who fear losing the same privileged access to the White House during the Biden administration.

Trump signed an executive order deferring for 18 months the removal of more than 145,000 Venezuelans who were at risk of being sent back to their crisis-wracked homeland. He cited the “deteriorative condition” within Venezuela that constitutes a national security threat as the basis for his decision.

“America remains a beacon of hope and freedom for many, and now eligible Venezuelan nationals in the U.S. will receive much-needed temporary immigration relief,” Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican of Florida, said in a statement praising the decision.
