a tax on foreign imports or a subsidy on domestic production is the same thing & both are anti competitive
Sure, you first posted this: Then I posted where Trump was considering eliminating the EV tax credit, then you switched to this:
the tax is just replacing the subsidy. they are the same thing. but, I suspect the tax/subsidy will be higher. tomato & tomato are the same thing no matter how you pronounce them. if trump sticks to his word the tax/subsidy will be many time more times what it currently is.
