Again, though it may be bitter medicine, as I have stated all along; it's necessary medicine because Trump put (R) voters in this position by being an impeachment-worthy criminal.

Again; Therefore; any and all votes for the Republican Party are votes for enabling the criminality of Donald Trump.

One can either cast a vote for enabling an impeachment-worthy criminal, or......not. And it is THAT SIMPLE.

I increasingly wonder what the 2020 election would have looked like without the Covid voting "modifications"

It's hard to believe that both Trump and the dem candidate received so many fewer votes this go-round, given the seemingly motivated voters on both sides of the aisle in 2024

the only sensible explanation is that a) Trump is Trump and voters know what they're getting AND b) Harris is disliked in a historically massive way. Disliked more than Hillary.

    I'll actually just give you a tldr version;

a political party that lies for and enables one of its members to actively conspire to illegally overturn an election has totally and completely betrayed it's trust with the American people and should not receive a single vote until that conduct is eradicated.

So which liberal ideology (other than allowing women to make their own choices over their own bodies) do you disagree with again? Because in the past you've listed a lot things you support that Dems also support.

They are still counting votes. I believe Trump got 74.2 million in 2020 and he is now at I believe 74.7 million for 2024. The only outlier was Biden vote total of 81 million in 2020 (12 million more than Obama ever got)

Key differences in the two races.

The electorate voted out the incumbent Trump in 2020 when he bungled our nation's Covid response.

The electorate voted out the incumbent Biden/Harris in 2024 when many blamed him unfairly for post-Covid inflation, which was worldwide.

There is still 6M votes outstanding. 4M in CA, 1M in Oregon, 1M around the country. When it’s all done there will be maybe 1 M less votes who probably died of covid.

Thats a pretty big one and the biggest one for me. (Wasn't as big for the left as they thought though.)

Abortion is a non starter for me. Health/Rape exceptions should exist...after that its a terrible thing that our society allows in my opinion.

The push from some on the left to shut parents out of major decisions for minors is unacceptable to me as well.

I dont stand with the left on some LGBTQ issues.

I think immigration is an issue, but I think the right takes to hard of a line the other way sometimes as well.

I have some issues with some foreign policy matters too although I don't claim to make those game breakers.

Also note that I didnt say I voted that way but that many others do.

I did say I was ok seeing the left take the L on the issues I listed above and pushed back on by a majority of the nation

Yes. Well, quite a lot of people clearly think it's acceptable for a sitting president to enact a conspiracy to not peacefully transfer power, and overturn an election.

How insane and disgusting is THAT? It's preposterous.

Can we assume that if Biden and Harris had established fake elector slates, coerced officials, repeatedly publicly lied, etc etc.... that they'd be fine with that?

Again, it's preposterous - trying to overturn an election. It's the biggest deal breaker in politics, or at least should be.

Other people recognize how unacceptable such un-American conduct is.....but they are willing to vote for people whose organization lies about and enables such conduct. It's probably accurate to say that they're contributing to the likelihood it happens again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but here is what it looks like to me with the caveat that there are some votes still out there:

Trump has already received more votes in 2024 than Trump got in 2016 or in 2020.

Biden received more votes in 2020 than Hillary got in 2016 and more votes than Harris has received in 2024.

Harris has already received more votes in 2024 than Hillary got in 2016.

Horse hockey. I am sick of people telling me that Biden got 81 million legal votes while campaigning in his basement. I live in Atlanta where a lot of the crap went down. There was fraud in like 5 counties out of over 3,000 counties. My county was one of them. Once the ballot got separated from envelope there was no proof to overturn. Biden and the powerful Billionaires like Zuckerberg kicked trumps ass and I accepted the results but don’t piss on my leg and tell me it is raining.

Just bring your proof... to a court ( that was totally absent in about 80 cases thus far) to.. the DoJ since they don't have any proof.... to the FBI, also no proof... or to Raffensperger another official finding zero proof. The felon hired two different fims to find proof... nope. There were several audits around the country prompted by Pub and... no voter significant fraud found. But we all believe you. LOL

You made the claim of fraud. I dont have to disprove it. You have to establish it. Feel free to file a lawsuit in court. I will be utterly impressed.

Compare states with Voter ID vs states without Voter Id. It's not "the" clear, clean answer and there are variables to consider in each state, but the overall results trend to an argument to be made - and not so much on one individual election cycle, but the system established over time.
