I wouldn't even call that a slap on the wrist. Analysts restricted from practice and film review for 6 consecutive DAYS. Hell the headline of the article saying USC is on probation will do more damage to them than the actual penalties. Lol
The article said Riley was nit suspended. These were minor issues. Meanwhile,I would take Riley here in a heartbeat, and I think he’d do great here.
I must be missing something since I don't see why Coach Riley would be fired for this. Like I said, I can't open 247 links though.
He's the captain of the ship. Any violation of the rules by his coaching staff is technically his responsibility. I doubt that any head coach would be fired for these violations, but a mean AD could use it as the excuse.
USC wasn't put on probation for paying players. But, to your question, I don't know, and neither does anyone else.
