    I got to see Rodney in the O’Dome back in the 80s. We stayed after to see him leave the arena and he stopped and told a couple jokes. Such a funny guy!

    I only think tariffs are a good idea if the exporting country is dumping goods for the sole purpose of damaging a country's industry to the point that they have to fold and then later the country that is dumping can control market share and then charge more.

    For the record I do not have an Econ degree from UPenn.

    There is one now. Its the business incubator at the Hub on the grounds where Alachua General Hospital used to be. Its only a block or two from Norman Hall, so close to campus:

    Agreed, but UF already gets 20% of the license royalties, so Gatorade may not be so keen to put more $$ into UF.

    Probably why it’s about 20% more than powerade on average.

    I think its more about market share than royalties impacting pricing. Gatorade's market share in the U.S. dwarfs Powerade. The only advantage that Powerade has is access to Coke's massive world-wide distribution network.
