Or a chance that Lagway is starting, but I don't foresee it. Imagine if he starts and gets hurt again. Now that would do Napier in, for sure. We are mathematically eliminated for any chance of a post-season (beyond a bowl game nobody cares about). Starting Lagway, unless we're 100% positive, is not wise. And I don't see how we can say we're 100% positive when he sat against Texas.
Best chance to win a game as probably not happening against Lane. Best chance in next 2 to win for sure. Gotta win 2 of next 3.
zero excuse for losing to f$u, yes they really are that bad. LSU and Ole Miss: tough ask, even if we weren't short handed.
We have lost 5 straight to LSU. Napier is graded and judged on his ability to beat rivals. We fired Zook for less.
I agree Shane, but honestly and realisticly, I'm just not "buying" the DJL "may play" line coming from Napier. Coach speak to have the other team prepare for the possability IMO. Every pundit I have listend to, every one, including former UF players, all of which had "Hammy" / soft tissue injuries, say that this injury is NEVER a two week recovery process. How long did it take AR to recover from his USF hammy? That was rather recent in terms of medical technology. Hey I hope I'm wrong but there is no magic "Star Trek" medical device to magicly heal it. And without DJL, I think LSU beats UF convincingly. Given the recent injury list, one has to hope some of these guys are able to return. I'm surprised about ASA Turner, will he come back this year at all? Damien George is anoher concern on the offensive line. I don't know, the way UF is snake bit in almost everything nowadays, is it worth the risk? I mean Napier got his assurance he will have a year 4, (although I'm not sure that is a "lock" given Scott S precarious position). I don't see any way UF beats either LSU or Ole Miss with Aidan Warner (and considering the injury list). UF is staring down the barrel of 4 - 8, unless they come up with a win in Tally, and despite the Seminoles woes, thats hardly a sure thing with Warner and the injury list.
