Prediction: Trumph's deportation efforts will be about effective as the wall that Mexico didn't pay for.

 

I think he’ll make a big stink of very public deportations in the first 30-90 days. And then we’ll hear nothing more, because America has the attention span of a mouse.

Folks whose lives are inextricably intertwined with and consumed by the hate-filled racist identity politics of progressivism ..... will never understand your point. They view any non-white group of people as a homogenous block incapable of having individual needs and making individual decisions.

Generally how it works when you're talking laborers, is there's one or two legals in the same house as several illegals. Family friends relatives. One or two speak English.

No. But many Latino voters likely have friends and/or family members living in these types of situations. Latinos are extremely family centric and have huge friend networks. The voters are citizens, but not all extended family living here are guaranteed to be.

 

And you said the ones that can vote won't be deported. Which is probably accurate. But that doesn't mean their friends relatives or coworkers won't be and that was my point

 

But their undocumented relatives can be deported. Mixed households containing combinations of the US citizens, immigrants with legal status and undocumented immigrants are not all that uncommon.

Why? There are 1 million of them working in agriculture. 1 million in construction, 1 million in foodservices, and 5 million more in other industries. If they aren't causing any trouble, why the need to deport them and double the number of current job openings, at minimum, in the country?

Not to mention, deporting them would cause hardships. If there is a family with an undocumented immigrant(s) living with citizens, and they are a multiple income household, removing the undocumented income will have a negative effect. It could mean more on SNAP/foodstamps. Not to mention, cities and towns with high immigrant population will lose a ton of demand and money flow, which causes distress to businesses that rely on said money flow. Which causes more hardship, and even more increase in SNAP and unemployment needs.

Who wins if we deport 8 million? Those convicted of a crime and/or have significant gang ties? We don't need those type of immigrants. But hard working people just looking to improve their lives? Should be a different story.

 

Have been married to one at one time, her immediate family members and quit a few don’t believe illegal immigrants should be rewarded either. If you’re going to live here get your papers in order.

Your other post, I agree to go after and deport the criminal element and offer to help the others get their immigration status straight.

Drumph will first get at least some construction on the wall going rather quickly. Never mind the cost or source of funding, he doesn't GAF.

He'll then make a huge amount of noise about removing illegals who've committed crimes. May even get some removed; upside even if it goes sideways - "Look at these violent people!"

Then he'll ignore the issue and just continue stealing stuff, and keeping out of jail. His cult will be happy. (with whatever he says or does)
