So guess I was right. The guy we are told is afraid of strong intelligent women just hired one for the most important position on his team. Where are all the pink vagina hats celebrating a first for women?

She mostly kept him on a leash, and from running headlong into thick traffic. I love the pick. She's the grounding wire Trump needs to keep him from ... 'Trump-ing' himself in the foot every other day, and tweet ridiculous shit to undermine his positive actions.

This is a very encouraging sign of what's to come, imho.

That’s an interesting fact…. The First time I ever saw or heard of her was during Trump’s acceptance speech, where she seemed to shyly decline to comment, take credit or soak up the limelight. It’s an interesting juxtaposition to her boss’ personality, but they obviously work well.

She is definitely a woman who is very strong and brave.

Because given his past history, she has to know there's a very decent chance of being sexually assaulted by Trump. She probably has a plan in place.

Everyone seems to agree she’s a nice’ish person (I tend to be suspect of anyone who would be willing to be around him at this stage).

But I’m not sure where we are getting the idea she’s reining him in. You watched the closing stretch of the campaign?

Just after the election “Hershel Walker in charge of missle defense!” and casually drops “end birthright citizenship”.

I can’t believe in 2024 someone is still pitching a “pivot to the center and start acting sane” as an expectation.

IMG_7405.jpg We need some form of contest or game to measure how long before he is calling her, and each other pick, an idiot, "the worst General in history," or something similar. We could measure the length of time in Scaramuccis.

Maybe some side betting, like which of his picks he says should be publicly executed?

It's cute to see all his followers so hopeful though. Like we don't already have a blueprint of his failure, his turning on people, and his blaming.

Very good of you to think this woman is weak and stupid.
She’s been around the Trump campaign since back in 2016.
How about be the tolerant kind you seem to love so much?
She’s helped Donald run the most disciplined, professional campaign this far.

I'll pray for her. She, like many of the felon's previous picks, seems to be of quality. The majority of those picks were tossed aside for incompetence, according to the felon.

She told Donald she’d be the chief but only if he stopped allowing people in the “clown car” to be around him.
Not sure who these clowns are but it seems like we have hope he’ll be a better version this time around.

Personally I think that she is an excellent selection. She is also a "normie" Republican who previously worked for John Huntsman and Mitt Romney and considering that Trump doesn't like to take advice from anyone and that he went through four Chiefs of Staff during his first administration the question is how long will she last?

Awesome. Just totally awesome. We're in the "comedy gold" section of this prequel to Idiocracy.

And these comments are probably met approvingly by his other voters, who nod sagely as they think to themselves "He's so super great on policy. He's a great man. I really just hope he doesn't jam a fork into a light socket."

Not really. Sort of the opposite, since you bring it up.

Did I quote you? It's actually hard to distinguish between the right-wingers who are ecstatic that we just elected a criminal sexual predator. Tbh, wouldn't know if I quoted you.

I think it sounds like a terrific pick.

However, to put things in context, ‘Member that time when Trump was lauded for his chief of staff selection, and most of his entire cabinet, in 2016?!

Didn't Biden commit to picking a woman just as he did SCOTUS “woman, POC”?

Wiles ran his winning Florida campaigns in ‘16 and ‘20 - it’s not a woman hire, it’s a competency hire who happens to be a woman. DEI= didn’t earn it.

Yeah.. so we are son the same side. That’s my point
Biden picked. DEI candidate… gender clearly mattered ( and not much else)
Now that a qualified woman is chosen for a position no woman has ever held before all of a sudden the left doesn’t care. DEI is dead! Or maybe DEInoy matters if you are a liberal.. not so much if your a conservative. Liberals the party of inclusion!!!
