I’ve heard that said also, Trump got about the same number of votes. So 15 or so million stayed home compared to 2020?

I seriously hope that can get back to normal, too. I suspect that a year or so we're going to see a lot of voter's remorse over their vote for Trump. Whether we like it or not immigrants including those that are undocumented play a critical role in the economy. They are responsible for harvesting crops and work in meatpacking plants and as construction laborers and Trump isn't just going to deport currently undocumented immigrants. He will also withdraw temporary protected status from large numbers of immigrants making them subject to deportation. The cruelty aside eliminating a significant percentage of workforce will almost certainly lead to inflation especially in food prices and it will be more severe than it was 2022 the single most important factor leading to the defeat of Harris. While I don't think Trump will actually impose across board tariffs on all imported goods he will impose enough new tariffs to significantly affect prices. It also wouldn't surprise me that after reducing interest rates over the next six months or so the Fed starts raising interest rates again to fight the probable Trump-caused inflation. Unless Trump and the boys are really successful at voter suppression 2026 could see the largest midterm Democrat wave election since 1974 when the Democrats ended up with 291 House seats and 60 Senate seats.

Kind of remember being told that Republicans were going to put black people back in chains in '12.

    LOL, say what ?!

Of course I'm calling out the majority of Americans. Christ, a group can't be criticized because they're a majority? What could have given you that idea?

You guys just voted for a convicted felon who literally enacted a criminal conspiracy to overturn a presidential election. He was impeached twice for valid reasons. Sat and watched for hours while his supporters beat the *** out of hundreds of cops. Cheated on every single one of his 3 wives like a rutting animal. Admitted to committing sexual assault and was found by a jury to have done precisely that. Has been accused of sexual assault or rape by appx 25 women. Stole classified documents and tried to keep them. Accepted help in an election from Russia.

That is all some grotesque, un-American s***. It's insane really. You wouldn't let someone like that inside your house.

The only thing more grotesque than doing all that might be knowing someone did all of it and voting for him?

So yeah, let's be clear. I'm precisely calling out the majority of 2024 POTUS voters. In the exact way I did prior to the election. Their abject immorality is grotesque. Clear?

I fully expect Trump will wear out any goodwill he has extremely quickly and everyone close to him will be begging Elon to turn off his Twitter account. I do not think 60 is really in the cards for the Senate with the '26 map but I could definitely see a major shift in the House. I would expect Alito, Thomas, and Rogers are going to be asked about how the feel about retirement this coming spring.

They didn't stay home, they never existed! The number of votes in 2020 was statistically impossible.

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

    Thanks for clearing that up.

But, if the election truly was stolen and Trump was elected President in 2020, isn’t he constitutionally prohibited from running again in 2024?

Trump can override the normal system as seen as in 2016 and 2024. Not a history Buff but they said the last one like Trump was Teddy back in the early 1900s.

Teddy was always popular. He lost his last election because his party abandoned him, and he just couldn’t overcome the split of his party’s vote. Woodrow Wilson was grateful.

Seems to me we were all doing fine without the 10 million that have come across the border in the last 3 and a half years. I am betting most do not pick crops and everyone one of them consume food. I think we will be fine if they all go back.

We will see pretty quickly in the first quarter of 2025. Trump’s gonna need a rather large immigration army to find and throw out the (finger-in-the-air) estimate of 20 million illegals he’s been telling us about for the past few years. We know he knows where they’re at, because he’s been telling us exactly what they’ve been up to. And so I for one will be looking forward to him finally using that power to toss those known criminals out on their butt.

(By the way, anybody know where Trump’s gonna throw 20 million people? And how much does it cost to train the officers, investigate, find, and apprehend them, provide them a modicum of due process, house them temporarily, feed them, clothe them, treat them (for the injuries sustained during the chase and catch), find a place to send them, and then transport them to the place they came from)?
