"NY" being the key element. It's just a politically motivated action from the cretins that run that armpit.

Trump's idiot son, Eric, was in England recently, and was nice enough to lecture England on how it should defer to the Great Donald Trump on all matters. He wants the English leadership to treat the Great American Dictator with more respect this time around. Jimmy Kimmel found the insolence of the twerp to be hilarious.

Disgusting reflection on this country that someone who has so egregiousy violated so many laws of such magnitude is not only going to walk but walk into the WH. Call it crying if you desire but I continue to be disgusted with my fellow voters

    This. Exactly this.

Several days ago I asked a prominent poster on this board, who had said that he voted for Trump, whether he thought that Donald Trump was a criminal.

I didn't get a response. I think it's because anyone rational knows Trump is definitely a criminal. And a lot of Trump voters are quite rational. They clearly know that they voted for a criminal. Apparently they don't like to recognize that fact, though. It's actually pretty sad.

If you are going to buy into a con-man's con, you have to buy into the WHOLE con, and not just part of it. Well, part of Trump's con is that all charges against him are politically-motivated and completely fabricated out of thin air. It helps to be lightly-educated to fall for the Trump con.

Three retailers are jacking up prices in anticipation of Trump's tariffs: Autozone, Columbia Sportswear, and Stanley Black & Decker. Get ready for a lot more of this.

The Philippines gives the U.S. an inkling of what the U.S. can look forward to after a few more years of the Trump dictatorship, once Trump turns the U.S. into the greatest banana republic the world has ever seen. The daughter of Philippine dictator Duterte is serving as Vice-President under the President and son of the Philippines original Grifter-in-Chief, Ferdinand Marcos. Duterte's apple did not fall far from the tree, as his daughter announced that if she is killed for any reason whatsoever by anyone or any thing, she told her assassin she keeps on retainer to immediately assassinate Marcos, Jr., his wife, and the Speaker of the House. For some reason, Marcos, Jr. was unhappy with this development.

Just something to think about as the dim bulbs cast their votes for Eric Trump in another 20 years or so.

Not to be outdone by the Philippines, Venezuela has its own political party dispute aired out in a public way. Six members of the opposition party have taken shelter in the Argentinian Embassy as Venezuelan security forces close in on them and lay siege to the embassy. I suppose that maybe we can look forward to the leading democrats taking shelter in another country's embassy in D.C. after (future) President Eric Trump sends in U.S. troops to surround the embassy and defeat the democrats. Trump sure is inspirational.

The son of Norway's crown princess has been arrested for the second time this year over accusations of rape. Marius Borg Hoiby, a.k.a. "Lil' Trump", is considering running for president and raising tariffs on other countries while erecting a wall with Sweden, "to keep those dark Swedish meatballs from the south out of Norway".

refusing to sign MOU's because they commit them to ethics rules that resulted in subpoenas from first time that still are unresolved. this allows any entity to give him as much money as they want with no strings attached and say it was to fund the transition. no records, no transparency, no accountability? want a cabinet seat, make a contribution to my transition team and you too can put your favorite venture capitalist or WWE promoter on the cabinet..

what happens if djt just refuses to sign any of these required documents?

Donald Trump Not Signing Transition Documents Sparks Anger From Critics

Donald Trump has sparked anger from Democrats and critics for not signing legal documents needed to formally begin the transition of power. The memorandums of understanding (MOUs) filed with the General Services Administration and the White House are typically submitted by September and October before Election Day. The documents allow an incoming administration to work with the outgoing one to begin an orderly transition process on issues such as providing IT services and office space, and permitting the FBI to vet candidates tapped for national security positions.
    ...........................................
Trump's failure to submit the required ethics pledge, stating that he will avoid conflicts of interest, has also meant that he has not disclosed who is funding his transition process. Newsweek has contacted the Trump transition team for comment via email.
    .......................
"Trump has yet to sign the ethics agreement required for the presidential transition, allowing him to raise unlimited amounts of money from unknown donors to pay for the staff, travel, and office space involved in preparing to take over the government," the group wrote. Aaron Parnas, a lawyer and frequent Trump critic, added on X: "Not enough people are talking about how Donald Trump's team continues to skirt federal law by failing to sign critical documents as required by the Presidential Transition Act."

Brian Hughes, a spokesperson for Trump's transition team, said in previous statements to multiple news outlets that the president-elect's lawyers "continue to constructively engage with the Biden-Harris Administration lawyers regarding all agreements contemplated by the Presidential Transition Act."
Elsewhere, Heath Brown, a professor of public policy at John Jay College of Criminal Justice who studies presidential transitions, told The New York Times about the potential concerns in Trump not disclosing how the transition process is being funded. "When the money isn't disclosed, it's not clear how much everybody is giving, who is giving it, and what they are getting in return for their donations," Brown said. "It's an area where the vast majority of Americans would agree that they want to know who is paying that bill."
