People can’t figure out that shit was cheaper in 2020 because there was a damn global pandemic, one that Trump botched response on miserably I might add. Voters literally had amnesia about this, it’s insane. Of course things were higher when Biden got in, he inherited a post Covid economy, but the U.S. has statistically rebounded better than almost every other country. The fact that the majority of Americans don’t understand that, or the fact that we’re currently under Trump’s tax plan, is frightening. So many uneducated voters.
This. (And fwiw, I predicted this.) Look at the scumbags that almost won in NC; that Robinson guy is as vile as they come...and got appx 40% of the vote! The lady who called for Obama to be publicly shot on television is still neck and neck for head of....get this....their Dept of Education! MTG got re-elected, lol. The biggest takeaway from this election is the deplorable character of our electorate. There may be some truth to it when Trump supporters spin it to "economic uncertainty" or "anger over the border"....but that is just a reflection on voter ignorance. As if Trump would have done anything different on inflation. And he had four years and FAILED to secure the border.
